Eid al-Adha

Eid al-Adha is the celebration at the culmination of the pilgrimage (hajj) which is an obligation—one of the five pillars of Islam—[for] every Muslim who is able to perform it and afford it. The date for the holiday changes from year to year, as it is scheduled according to the Islamic lunar calendar.
