An event every year that begins at 12:00 am on day 30 of July, repeating indefinitely
This world day is a condemnation of human trafficking, a crime that exploits women, children, and men for numerous purposes including forced labor and sex. In the past 15 years, countries have improved efforts to detect and report trafficking victims, therefore increasing convictions of traffickers and providing support for trafficked persons, but there is still much to do. This is an issue that affects every part of the world, especially areas with conflicts that increase vulnerabilities of populations through instability and migration flows.
